Vice came to us with a UFO Map of Indonesia and said ‘Ok, go!’. We researched, planned, shot and edited this doc. It was a big project and had a lot of challenges, including our camera man getting covid a week before the shoot, then the presenter and back up presenter both getting covid on the first day of the shoot. But the amazing Rana from Vice Indonesia flew to our rescue and did a wonderful job of jumping in. Vice legal clearances then pushed us to breaking point with the blurring of anything without written clearance…and even a door number with written clearance. Such respect for how tight their legal process is though and it was such a good learning experience for us.
