Marketing Campaign & Amazon Content: CLAX

Summary

CLAX came to Overcrank Media with a clear mission: launch new product designs with a full content package for web, ads, social, and Amazon. All with real human interaction on camera. We handled concept-to-delivery as a one-stop shop, covering strategy, production, and post.

Total Deliverables

The Brief

CLAX already had strong branding and a clear idea of what they needed. The key gap was content that felt tactile and relatable. Content that shows the product in real hands, in real motion while staying true to the clean CLAX aesthetic.

Their requirements split into two content streams:

    • Studio stills for web and social: multiple colours, angles, and functional positions (approx. 250 images).
    • Marketplace / Amazon assets: clean cut-outs prepared for listing and ad use (approx. 250 images).

For the videos, we developed two complementary pieces: a straight-to-the-point product demo that bring clarity and trust, and a punchier TVC/DVC that made a practical product feel fun, modern, and memorable.

Concept & Budget

Every project Overcrank does is bespoke. For CLAX, the brand was already established, which meant we could move quickly from creative development into execution. Using their existing render videos (plus additional references from the client), we locked a direction that balanced:

    • clean product-first visuals (brand consistency)
    • clear functionality demonstrations (buyer confidence)
    • enough energy and colour to stop the scroll (ad performance)

Pre-production

This was a deceptively logistics-heavy job. We coordinated product import timing, aligned shoot dates around local customs processes, and then built the production machine: casting, props, locations, crew, and camera/lighting packages.

For studio selection, Bali has plenty of options (and wildly different price points). If you’re curious, we’ve got a full breakdown in our Studio Guide. For this campaign:

    • We shot the stills and the TVC/DVC in a controlled studio environment to keep the look crisp and consistent.
    • We used a cyclorama setup for the product demo to minimise floor clean-up and keep post costs efficient.

Once the concepts were approved, we built detailed shot lists and locked in talent, HMU, art, lighting, camera, lenses, movement, and all the small-but-critical bits that make a shoot day feel easy.

Production

Because the groundwork was solid, production ran smoothly. We kept momentum across multiple setups (stills + motion), captured BTS where useful, and handled the usual on-set curveballs with minimal disruption. This is the glamorous part of ‘making it look effortless’ with Overcrank Media.

Post-production

With product work, the big non-negotiable is colour accuracy. Lighting, lens choices, and grading can make everything look ‘nicer’, but if it drifts off-brand, it’s not doing its job. To protect the CLAX palette and preserve maximum flexibility, we captured stills and video in RAW, allowing precise colour matching and clean cut-outs in post.

Creative-wise, we added small touches to elevate the deliverables without overcooking them:

    • subtle beauty clean-up where needed
    • rhythm + speed in the TVC/DVC edit, with selective slow motion and dynamic reframing
    • a playful ‘multi-talent’ moment in the product video (multiple versions of the talent on screen) to keep the demo engaging

Outcome

CLAX walked away with a launch-ready library: 500+ images, two hero videos, and optional BTS. All delivered through one vendor, within budget, with a consistent look across web, social, ads, and Amazon.

We love projects like this: tight planning, clean execution.
